The last time I posted anything on this blog was nearly a year ago~on the 23rd of September! Originally I had lost a total of 60 pounds when I finally started going back to my old habits. Since that weight loss, I've gained about 15 pounds of it back. I'm not that sad about the weight gain though because despite the weight gain, I was able to adapt some permanent changes into my diet like drinking more water and simply watching what I eat. I have began eating at odd hours again which is, no doubt, a huge contributor to my weight gain.
I haven't really been dieting and it's time for me to start the quest again to lose more weight!
Today I logged out of my yahoo mail account and on the yahoo homepage I found an article that sparked my interest called Foods That Burn Calories! A friend had recommended I consume more Vitamin C and I thought yeah right but apparently it's believed that Vitamin C does burn calories.
And this is one of the topics I'll be researching over the next few months to see if I can boost weight loss with foods that are traditionally said to burn more calories.
I doubt that many people actually read this blog and with that in mind, I also use this blog as a reminder to myself of what I need to be doing. And I need to get back on the wagon and on the road to losing more pounds all over again.
In case anyone does read ... Don't be discouraged with weight gain; it's the small victories that should be celebrated and the triumphs we should learn from~don't give up!
